Veterans Care

Many veterans are unaware of the perks that are available for veterans help and attendance. There are now approximately 15 million veterans who are thought to be eligible for veteran care benefits, yet only 3% of them are actively making use of these benefits. This is primarily the case because the majority of veterans are either unaware that these benefits even exist or have received false information from the VA that they do not qualify for them. This pension amount from the VA grants qualifying veterans and their surviving spouses access to non-medical in-home care services. This benefit is offered to veterans who served in the military and their spouses. Veterans and their surviving spouses may be eligible to receive up to $2,200 per month in assistance with the cost of in-home caregiving services. A qualified team of in-home caregivers is able to collaborate with you to develop an individualized care strategy that is based on your specific requirements. RSR Home Health Service is available to aid veterans and their spouses who require non-medical care or assistance to help them with activities of daily living in their home or selected place of residence. This assistance can be provided either in the house or at the designated place of residence.

Prerequisites for receiving financial assistance include being a veteran or a surviving spouse.

To be eligible for this benefit, either the veteran or the veteran’s surviving spouse must fulfill all of the following requirements:

  • Over the age of 65.
  • They are either veterans themselves, the spouse of a living veteran, or the spouse of a veteran who has passed away.
  • The veteran served in an active capacity for a minimum of ninety days during one of the following wars: World War II, the Korean War, or the Vietnam War.
  • The veteran was discharged with honor from the military.
  • The veteran or the veteran’s surviving spouse has an income that satisfies the standards.
  • The veteran, the spouse of a living veteran, or the spouse of a veteran who has passed away requires assistance with activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and other such activities.
